Tension rings vs. O-rings — these are not the same: Tension rings are worn at the base of the penis after vacuum therapy to maintain the erection. O-rings are internal pump maintenance components. If you need rings for erection maintenance, this is the correct product. If you need internal pump seals, see the Vacurect O-Ring Kit.

      Size Cross-Reference — February 2011 Numbering Change

Vacurect updated its ring numbering system in February 2011. If your existing rings use the old number format, use this table to find the correct current replacement size:

Current Size (post Feb 2011) Old Size Number (pre Feb 2011) Tension Level
      Size 9 #16 Lightest
      Size 10 #18
      Size 11 #20
      Size 12 #22
      Size 13 #24
      Size 14 #26
      Size 15 #28
      Size 16 #30
      Size S-L #30½
      Size L-L #31
      Size X-L #32 Firmest

Size is imprinted directly on each ring. If your current ring has a number between 16 and 32, it uses the old system — use the table above to order the correct current replacement.

When to Replace Your Tension Rings

      • Ring no longer maintains erection as effectively as when new — tension elasticity has diminished
      • Ring shows visible cracking, tearing, or surface deterioration
      • Approximately every 20–30 uses as a general replacement guideline
      • Ring has been exposed to oil-based lubricants — oil degrades silicone and rubber ring material; use water-based lubricant only with all tension rings

      FAQs

My ring has a number like "#24" on it — what size do I order?

That's the old numbering system (pre-February 2011). Use the cross-reference table above: #24 = current Size 13. Order Size 13 as your replacement.

Will these rings work with my Pos-T-Vac or Encore system?

No — Vacurect rings are designed specifically for Vacurect Models 1001 and 1002. For Pos-T-Vac replacement rings, see Pos-T-Vac Ultimate II Rings. For Encore systems, see Encore replacement rings. Rings are not interchangeable across brands.

Can I use these rings without the Vacurect pump?

Tension rings can be used independently — slid directly onto the base of an erect penis — without a VED pump. Many men with mild venous leak use tension rings alone, without vacuum therapy. See also the VenoSeal Constriction Loop for an adjustable alternative to fixed-size rings for standalone use.

How long does a tension ring last?

Approximately 20–30 uses with normal care — water-based lubricant only, rinsed after each use, air dried, stored away from heat and direct sunlight. Exposure to oil-based lubricants significantly shortens ring life.
